Here I've just cut the brake pedal pivot shaft casting off so this can become the left side shifter/foot rest.
Tig time, a crude but effective fixture made the new brake side control rod run below the clutch cover instead of across it as shown on ebay.

Some more of the roughed in parts.
The only purchase parts were the rods and ball joints. Cheap from an online bobber site.
I couldn't believe how cool some of this stuff fell into place, I didn't keep this set-up just because of the chin scoop.
