It turns out that alot of vmax owners i knew (mostly police officers, as the bike was delivered to the police department in Egypt) had many accidents because of the brakes (aside from the terrible traffic we have (Egypt))!! can anything be done to improve the braking on this magnificent bike?

thank you, i already have a 2001, but the problem is, i dont know for which market it was originally intended form, i am from Egypt... however good news :)

if i am correct there are 3 filters in each side of the exhaust pipe,,, the question is whether it is safe to remove 2 of the 3 filters from each side to improve performance and create an eagle exhaust sound; loud and vulger-ish?

I read that up to 2001 all Vmaxes where about 102 HP, and the after that up to the new gen one they were 145 HP! And that all the difference are the carburetors! Is this true? And if it is, can a carburetor from a recent Vmax, say 2006, fit into a 2001 one?

Even if what im about to write is stupid but its an idea; what about fitting in a bigger radiator or a bigger fan, both if possible?? can the radiator or the fan perhaps be found on bigger models like any 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 liter engines models, or the 2nd generation vmax??
