I don't remember everything i used. I know the main hoop was 1/2" steel rod.

I painted the silver the night before. Not sure exactly what color it was though.:ummm: I used green masking tape for the stripes... don't do that. The edges were not as clean as I would have liked. Use the blue fine line tape. I would have used that if I didn't forget it when I went to paint...

I polished my scoops when I had the max. They do have many imperfections in them and they show up when polished. I sanded mine down with a DA and then used a polishing wheel on the end of a bench grinder. I probably only had about 2 hours in them.

Sold it. I rode the bike up to work one time just to make sure everything worked as it should. Then it went on ebay for a quick $500 profit.:eusa_dance:

I loved all the bikes I have owned. The max the most! I wish I didn't sell it last year. If I had to point out a bike that I hated the most it would be the cb400 I owned for about 1 month. I just bought it to flip and make a coin.:biglaugh:

I'm not sure how well that would work considering mine uses the stock grab bar. I like how it looks though. I jotted down a couple of ideas and i'm still not happy.
