Had the same issue with electrolyte levels. I think battery too close to hot engine. Bought Odissey online, and ride without problems for 2 years now.

Just buy a round puller from Amazon. More than enough.

Mine has 3 positions: always on, off and stock. When always on - sound like 2 cylinders and vibrates. Also hard to start even with choke open. I realize it when switch by mistake.

Read instructions carefully. There are few tricks. I was thinking about m109. Is it easy to handle? i heard they are very reliable.

Maybe something draining battery. I had something like this, after cold night can not start the bike. I bought Odissey battery and that is ok now.

Starter is working. Starter clutch most likely. But maybe starter not "touching"inner gears? I just changed my starter clutch. Well known issue with vmaxes.

May be just the bolt deformed. Did you try to screw any right size metric bolt inside?

Very important to put it on stand under you engine guards. You can brake sidestand - extremely strong forces infolved.
