Washing / cleaning / corrosion protection

Yes cola and rub with aluminium for me works very good, a cover is always a plus as long as wind blows underneath. Preventing rust from reappear is the hardest part.

    buying 1st motorcycle jacket

Look for the right fitting according to your body shape and that you like the look. For me was a hard job because I am tall and thin , most that I tried had too short sleeves or too large on the torso. richa mugello was my happy result.

    Magnetic oil plug

Same specialist who said that it's normal for a Vmax to make 85 miles with a tank, after he done two carb services on mine with stock set up doing only 73 miles on my bike. anyway, the only thing that I find about the magnet on the plug, is that seems a bit weak in magnetic power, apart from...

    What do you guys think?

Indeed, just give the space or use the throttle, don't argue side to side with a car, you are in a motorcycle without a cage. This happens often, when you merge you like that people give you the space so do the same. If goes wrong don't overreact like a girl. Get a life and don't give us...

    Converting from metric to SAE?

I remember that I got a M10 and M12 nut but none fit the banjo bolt that was holding the line to the slave cylinder.

    Converting from metric to SAE?

When I changed my clutch slave cylinder, I planned to close the line using a M12 nut on the banjo bolt to hold the break fluid. I was so wrong... and made such mess, because I don't have any other beside metric.

    Winter Riding

I wonder what works best or what is worth investing. Heated grips, hand guards or really good gloves. I never tried either options. Just know that I have that problem with getting really cold hands.

Bike running super rich-spark plug chek

That is quite some difference there. Then for sure something must be very wrong with mine. The guy who did the two carb services said that usually it's 85 miles until the light. ... Is there some adjustment that I could easily check?

Bike running super rich-spark plug chek

Got finally more info to update. So I went back to the guy (Vmax specialist) with the bike and he did another carb service. I picked up the bike back, filled the gas tank and counter on zeros, it seems to be running normal until now. So yesterday I got for the first time the red light and it...

    Oil filter cover

Thanks, I just did the change for the first time, mine is from 93 but on the manual was only showing the torque but for the engine with the other kind, which i supposed to be lower than mine with the external cap, but I didn't find any info about the torque for it. I don't see any problem with...
