I was watching an old episode of highlander (yes, real old) and noticed a Vmax in the background. I made my wife pause the DVD and verify it was indeed mr max. Got me thinking...what movies or shows have you seen a max in? I hear a gen 2 will be in the new ghost rider. What else?

Some of the comments they say about Vmax owners are hilarious...because they're true! smoking tires...hooligan behavior...excuses for errands just to feel the vboost...

FYI...The new issue (November issue) of motorcyclist magazine has a gen 2 max vs the diavel in a head to head comparison.

I've got chrome frame braces on mine...not only does it look mean as hell, it is amazingly stable. I was weary of the maxes at first because stories of "death woble", but mine rides perfectly. You can take you hands off the bars at 80+ with no woble/concerns. I've got much more than frame brace...

Do you rework the middle and rear only? I have a starfighter front already.

How much does a morley seat with back-rest run? I'm most interested in the back-rest as I already have a starfighter front seat.

OK, 100 mph is pretty reasonable...the disclaimer should have read: nobody needs to do >120mph consistently on any bike...and I stand by that. Way too many variables man...animals, cagers, road hazards, etc...

Figured I'd catch flack for that! :icon_rolleyes: Say what you will...you can appreciate the vmax without doing 120+. It was after all actually designed for stoplight to stoplight performance. Carry on though...all balls no brains, that's the ideal setup for natural selection :biglaugh:

Honestly guys I don't see the big deal in being mad about a wobble at >120mph speeds. Maybe because I'm new to the Vmax and haven't really pushed it (and become addicted to the speed), but I really don't see the rationale for >100 mph. I've seen people state they want to get ride of their max...

+1 on that...I'm in the northern most part of Missouri and could be up in Omaha/Iowa in no time.
