Red striped tires or the rim?

I put some of this on my CBR, http://www.motosport.com/street/product/PRO-GRIP-WHEEL-TAPE-REFLECTIVE-RED/?catalogId=109279&words=tape (Don't pay much attention to the one reviewer who gave it one star, this stuff is a proven product on many biker boards.) It comes in other colors too. Never...

    93 Octane for the Max....

Ie. the desire to run higher octane anyway, true enough, won't hurt anything and it's cheap in a bike. In some cases like was pointed out, some brands of gas only have the good additives in their premium gas, and I've seen with my own eyes the difference between an engine running good gas...

    93 Octane for the Max....

Your bike feels "smoother" with 93 octane because it's making less power per combustion stroke, and therefore less vibration. Unless an engine has high enough compression to NEED octane over 87, running anything higher will result in less power. On the other hand, if your tuning sucks, or you...

    OK, let's run 'em

Dude that has to be the most asymmetric result I've ever seen, 100Mb down, half a Mb up? That's kinda wierd, but that is some blazing download speed.

    OK, let's run 'em

I thought mine was decent, but compared to some it's nothing! U-Verse "Max 18."

    Dunlop Qualifiers

My (used) '05 came with a Dunlop on back with raised white lettering, stock sized. I've never had any problems at all with it to be honest. Only reason I'd go with something else is to get something wider.

What did you do to your Vmax today?

Got some AIR this weekend; was going down this small backroad by the lake, and came upon a low-water crossing in a creek. No time to slow down (was doing maybe 40), so I stood up to "motocross" across the bumps. It wasn't that big and I didn't feel in any danger. When I hit the other side of...

What did you do to your Vmax today?

Pardon my ignorance, but what brand is that pipe; is it a "Mark's Pipe?" Looks great, where are they available? I'm thinking about ditching my cobra slip ons for a real exhaust, and that one looks great. How's the sound?

Tools needed to Move brake lever

The whole master cylinder assembly, that the brake lever attaches to, is attached to the handlebar with a clamp that uses a 5mm allen wrench.

    Carb Sync Question

Sync'd my carbs for the first time today using the above thread, with my new Carbtune Pro. First time so probably took me 45 minutes, next time probably 15, if that. Once I realized how the three sync screws all interact, it was pretty easy. Plus the tool is all setup now so won't have to do...

Are you a new member? Come here and say hi!

OMG! That's way less than I paid for my '05 with way more miles! Story of my life. Congrats though!

    eBay VMAX BEAST!!!

Omg! Look at that back tire! I never thought a back tire could be TOO WIDE, but that just might be! 360mm, and front is a 250, haha.

The V-max fuel reserve (guage) explained.

A low-fuel light, combined with the fact your odometer always reads within 10 miles every time you fill up, is enough info for me. In fact I think every bike I've owned functioned like that. You get a light with a gallon or so left. I'm just not sure why we have to have this odd switch to remind...

The V-max fuel reserve (guage) explained.

I've been wondering, I don't see a reason I can't just leave the reserve switch in the reserve position, correct? Then the reserve would function like basically the last 4 bikes I've owned; you get a light warning you with a gallon left, and no further action needed until you fill up. I don't...

    GM is killing off Pontiac

Yeah, I forgot that model, but that was back in the 80's. I don't really consider a GNX a Buick, lol. That may be the only Buick, ever, I'd want.
