I recently bought a 2001 Vmax, it's quite high mileage(102,000) but very well looked after and regularly serviced, the only problem is the low fuel light doesn't work, the fella told me about it, and said he just reset his trip, and filled up every 100 miles, was wondering if its a straight...

Thanks for that, I think the problem is I'm used to a 2015 triumph T100, and the Vmax is a totally different bike, so needs to be treated differently.

It's a lot of fun, it has so much grunt, bits I'm not to keen on, the brakes aren't great and the low-speed handling is a bit iffy, but apart from that I'm loving it

Hi I'm just about to purchase a 2000 Vmax, never owned one before, I currently have a 2015 Triumph T100, 1984 BMW R65 and a 1975 Yamaha RD350b cafe racer, I'm looking forward to learning and maybe modifying the Vmax, cheers Jim
