Hi everyone! Haven’t been riding for awhile and this morning when I started my 93 VMax gas has leaked from the breathing tube of one carburetor (picture attached). Most likely due to the issues caused by the Etanol on modern gasoline. I know there are many posts about carburetor cleaning but i...

Thanks! I agree with you about his video. What bothers me is the huge difference compared to the service book. Let’s see if someone gives me more details. Otherwise I will go with 4.8” as he suggested.

    Fork Oil Level

I’m just finishing replacing the seal and I’m confused about the right fork oil quantity. - Mosley’s video says 4.8 inches from top, - another YouTube video says 5.5 inches, and - on the Service book it says 451ml (this quantity gots me at 11” from top). Before I close it up, anyone...

Valve cover gasket replacement (and painting the engine)

I end up using a little grease to hold in place. Needless to say it didn't help at all. I really wanna finish last night so I had to be very patient to position it. Job done. Let's see if the stop the leaks. Next... Redo the fork seals after cleaning up scratches and nicks from the inner tubes...

Valve cover gasket replacement (and painting the engine)

What is the best way to keep the gasket in place while reassembling the valve cover? Maybe grease on the slot, so it wouldn't fall when upside down? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi guy's me back 2006 vmax fork leaking

I've already order new seals and bushings, but I think the very little scratches/nicks may be damaging the seals. I can't see any female to the deals, but I see some imperfections in the inner tube. Do you think polishing them before replacing seals and bushing will help? Sent from my iPhone...
