    2018 Vmax 1700 Stalling Issue

I just left the dealership they pretty much talked me out of leaving it there even though it’s still under warranty. Since it’s only done it once they didn’t want to rip into it and Yamaha not cover it. Guess I’ll wait til it does it again and under what conditions then take it back again...

    2018 Vmax 1700 Stalling Issue

I doubt very much that they will be able to duplicate the issue as well. Luckily it’s still under warranty. I forgot it’s a 2019 getting old makes for forgetful minds I guess. But your info will definitely be useful taking it in tomorrow. This is a great forum. Very much appreciate your advice.

    Extended starting attempts

Ok, I called the dealership today and they said that I should wait about 6-10 seconds to hit the starter for the first time and guess what, it still takes 2 to 3 more tries for it to fire. I guess it’s just getting used to the idea. I had the same issue with my 2011 FZ8. They never figured it...

    Extended starting attempts

Hi Everyone Been a life long Vmax lover and finally own one. Bought a 2019 this weekend and noticed that it takes at least three attempts hitting the starter switch in order for the bike to fire. Each attempt is about 2-3 second bursts then finally fires. This happens whether the bike sits for...
