    Is this normal?!?

That's what I was thinking. The bike was running hotter and I went ahead and gave it a good flush which probably got rid of all the nasty stuff which exposed the weak seals. Last time it was flushed was about 4 years ago. It was running much cooler after that and then the leak happened. We are...

    Is this normal?!?

I was running 50/50 and I had given it a flush the day before. However I filled it to the specified 3 liters. I am guessing that the seals were already going and the pressure probably blew them. The bike has 58K on the odo, but I just had it compression tested and it's well within tolerance.

crap!! Too hot work in in the garage and too hot to ride at the moment. Do you happen to know the part number for it if you have it handy. If not I can find it.

    Is this normal?!?

I walked into my garage and found a small hole in my water pump housing case and a huge puddle under the bike. Attached is the picture. Is there supposed to be a hole there or plug? There seems a machined indentation there. Sean, if this ain't normal, I'm gonna need a water pump case :rofl_200:

    !50 paj 2?

I replaced the 150's with the 175's and raised the needle to the third notch from the blunt end. I go rid of the stumble and it seems to run a heck of alot better with the pilot jet change. Thank you all for your help.

    !50 paj 2?

There is nothing wrong with the kit. It's just no set of carbs is a alike so you'll have varying set ups. There is alot of data on these forums that get you in the ball park. I'm still scratching my head about having 150's:ummm:

    !50 paj 2?

Mine came with 165 and 175 for the upper ranges. No 170 and 177.5 I'm goign to put in the 175's for a stop gap and try it out.

    !50 paj 2?

They are the Stg 7 needles. The slides are drilled and I'm using the stg 7 springs.

    !50 paj 2?

Howdy everyone, I am dialing in my Morley carb Kit and I have a bit of a stumble around 4K. I have a Kerker with the 2.5 inch baffle the bike makes good power all the way through the range except for the 4K hiccup and slight coughing around 3K. Also almost a rock solid idle @ 1K I read up on...

    17" & Radial

Welcome to the wonderful world of the meanest looking bike on the street. If you're on a budget. May I suggest the 17" rear tire from Cycle One Off and the front wheel off a Yamaha YZF 600 Both tires will accept a stock Vmax brakes and rotors. The Cycle One off tire will require that you...

    Stopped by the law

The stock baffle is a 2.5. I think the only way to go is the 1.5 comp baffle for power and sound unless you live in a place with a strict HOA. You are correct the baffle comes from Kerker or Sean might have a new or used one stashed somewhere. My great joy is blasting the napkins and empty...

    Stopped by the law

I haven't been stopped on the Max yet but I always get looks due to the Kerker and the 1.5 baffle. I have to be extra careful because I have a speedo difference due to my YZF 600 front wheel. I have a toll road here that's good for a 150+ blast for about 3 miles. I'm terrified of the wobble...

    rear sets

One thing I had to do was extend the shift peg by using a black nylon spacer and a longer mounting screw. I didn't like how short the peg was. I had to almost turn my foot inward to make clean shifts. So if you purchase the WRS, see if they also sell an extended shift peg for it. Other than that...

    rear sets

Here is the finished result. I must say that the riding position feels better. Looks like I might have to switch to drag bars and bar end mirrors
