I think i found a new solution to my shrunkin rubber airbox boot, this drum wood shaper been floating around ,for ever ,plus I found down the dump. one boot was one inch and 7/8 ,the drum is 2 inch ,so tried it ,and it worked , who knew lolol

Can you use 4 single pod filters in place of the air box without messing with the carbs

that's what its suppose to be , the oil feed line closest to the vent on mind is about a mm away from the crank vent , can I loosen the bangoe and pry it over ??? maybe they bent it over when putting engine in ,all I need is a1/8 of a inch , maybe when they tighted the bangoe it moved over,

Took old breather hose off ,was going to replace with heater hose ,but there is a oil feed line up against the crankcase vent pipe ,what do you do ,I don't want to try to pry the line over ,I might break it ,do you really need that hose to the airbox , the diagram in the service manual shows...

I hear ya ,same here .the vmax with the corbin seat and the airhawk pad ,and swan handle bars , they help the most,I can ride all day , I had a Goldwing 1500 and a hayabusa unrestricted,both great bikes , if they had a kid ,it would be a vmax ,lol

on the starter cover sleeve , one of thr bolts made the round hole into a oblong hole with high ridges around it ,from banging against it , should I replace it or file it down ,everything is it great shape , what do think about those ideal ones on ebay 59 $ thanks

I guess I got lucky ,flywheel popped off, sure enough loose bolts , no wonder it makes so mush noise , two were peeded , that must be factory spec, the two peeded ones were loose two took them out with fingers , had my kid hit with a12 lb sledge hammer, the next one method .a hilti hammer drill,
