It is a water vapor that will even leave moisture in the catch tank. It does it when it is up to temp, and oil is up to temp as well, There is zero oil that comes out and the engine does not burn any oil.

I'm getting some light white moisture type smoke from my crankcase breather hose, as I'm running flat slides do not have a stock air box. It happens when the engine has run about a couple of minutes from a cold start, and does it when warm, but there is no oil coming out of the hose, the engine...

Does anyone know where to purchase adjustable brake and clutch levers for first generation V-Max. I believe TITAX and TRW make some, but these are only in the UK. Is there anyone in the US that handles these? Thanks in advance. Jim

Last summer, I bought a mostly complete 88 V-max with perfect condition Dymag wheels and new tires for $800 off E-bay, that was 30 miles from my house! Jim

I believe that possibly the lowest serial # 1985 V-max could be the original Cycle World test bike that was used in the initial road test and also the "Taking it to the nines" test that had Jay Gleason doing the riding. That bike was sold to Sandy Kosman of Kosman Specialties after the testing...

Over Racing quit making this system a few years ago, it's similar to a early Hindle in the headpipe design, a German fellow by the name of Kainzinger built a super trick V-max in the late 90s that had a GP exhaust system that was very close in design to this setup. It has a unique exhaust sound...
