I just ordered some stock height progressive fork springs for my 97. Will I notice much of a difference over the stock springs? How much better is the progressive lowering kit vs the stock height progressive springs?

Not to hijack, but if you install progressive springs do you have to lower the front end and cut the spacers?

Ok so I just bought a 97 max with 14000 miles. I had it running but it was idleing rough so I decided to clean the carbs. With the carbs off I looked down into the motor and noticed a small amount of green fluid sitting on top of the intake valves. The coolant level is still full and the oil...

Got my replacement TCI and that fixed my problem. Got the bike running after sitting for 2 years. Now I just need to fix the brakes and fork seals and she will be road worthy :)

Ok I tested the pickup coil. I am getting 106 ohms. So im thinking its the tci.

I just pickup up a 97 vmax. There is no spark on any cylinder. I tested the primary coil resistance and I can up with anywhere from 2ohms to 3.4 ohms. Does that mean the tci is bad?
