I know there’s threads on water pump rebuild but I can’t find anything on the direction of the oil seal. Does the numbers go towards the bearing or the mechanical seal? Gen 1 thanks for any help I guess I should have stayed working on it so I’d remember.

I have a 06 Vmax kind of a dream since my grandfather had a 85 model and I’ve always looked up to him. But I installed a Kerker exhaust 4-1 and took it to the bike shop and they went up one on my main and went up one on my pilot and I know that’s not right. I’ve read 150 main & everything else...
