soak

Ive looked around and cant find anything definite. How long do you soak the fiber discs before installing. Ive heard anything from 30-45 mins, to overnight.

Am wondering if its a good idea or not to recondition the diaphragms and if so with what or how (if anybody's done this before). Last time I had them out they looked OK, but am considering of going stage 7 and figure while their out why not do some preventative maintenance if feasible--cuz man...

I know you don't want to do it with the diaphrams for the slides and just clean the needle and the coasting enrichener you just clean the metal on it as well, and obviously the o-rings you wouldn't want to either. But what about the rest of the metal parts, like jets and the such? The carbs...

I noticed yesterday that my vmax felt a little winded up top. The heat index was over 100...do these motors suffer from heat soak? Arizona guys step up! Abe
