1st Gen V-Max idle mixture screws stuck

Hi everyone, Im new in the Vmax world, just got a 2006 and it doesnt idle without the choke, I tried this Lvlhead's Vmax - The Shotgun, but couldn't get 2 screws out, and I might have damaged them. Do I need to replace the carbs or there is a way to get these screws out?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

You can try left-handed drill bits. Harbor Freight sells them.
