I installed the SH775 Series regulator into my 2002 Roadie. The bike has a Rick's "Hot Shot" stator - 20% more output installed a few years ago. The old shunt unit is on Fleabay, or free to any member who wants to give me $6.00 for shipping. Works great.. But old tech.. Plug is included, so it would be a simple hookup.

Anyway, I've got a 55/100 H4 bulb in the bike, along with 2 35 watt spotlights.

Running at just off idle, 14.2 volts.
100 watt high beam on 14.2 volts.
100 watt high beam and 70 watts worth of spot lights 14.0 volts.

All measurements taken at the battery.

This is equivalent to the performance of the unit in the VMax, with the new Venture spec stator.

Both bikes have the R/R mounted under the seat, and both bikes units stay cool to the touch, even after a long run.

I'm sold on these units.
