Well it's now summer and the Vmax has been running a bit off.

I am getting a "hang up" or "float" of the rpms during shifting, and settling into idle.
Only when it's warmed up nice and hot.
It runs great cold till it gets up to over 1/2 on the temp gage, then this "float" starts to happen.

Uni air filter
147.5 mains
pilot air jet #1 90 (stock)
Pilot air jet #2 170 (stock)
clip at 2 1/2
Elevation 4,500 ft.
HMF "2D9S"
Idle screws out 2ish +- for each carb.
Recently synched (Morgan)

Should I start F'n with it, or let her be?
It's subtle, but still it's there.

Well,

Purchased 8 new rubbers.
4 carb box intake, 4 carb to manifold.
Re sync of the carbs
1/8 turn out on the A/F screws

seems to have worked.

bye for now

thanks Shawn.

Shad,Look at the vboost boots too. They like to crack also and suck air.Can be hard to see without moving the clamps.

Hey vmaxinID, along with these symptoms, did you also have trouble with hot starts? I'm seeing these problems now that it's getting hot.

No,

but I have done the "crimp fix"
running a New Odyssey Battery,
and have run a double relay set-up straight to the headlight.

I tried to cure my "hot start" problem before it started.

My old plugs were dirty and I couldn't tell if I was rich or lean.
With the new plugs in it revealed I was a bit lean,
A/F adjustment took care of that and no more float or hang up occured.
