Better Better look at that video again ..It's as clear as day the UFO bike does not have a M/T slick ..Tim used an M/T slick on his bike but not Jon..Jon did have an M/T slick on the bike for his still photos taken at his shop but look at the Video and you will see a 17 inch rim with an M/T DOT...

I'm going to make a guess or two , three ..I shouldn't but i will anyway .. One.. I think he has ditched the fly by wire along with the ABS system Two ..I think some how he has lowered the gear ratio with either the rim size and or tire size or the rear end gear ratio it's self ..More likely...

Well if Jon got the bike weight down to 500 pounds it should run 8.80s on motor .. My bike at 500 pounds runs 8.70s on motor so it's possible .. Question is can you get a 680 pound Vmax down to 500 pounds ? :confused2:

All Jon has said is he has the worlds fastest Gen 2 Vmax .. That part is true ... How he did it is a different story ..:ummm:

I have run 1.34 on both my zx14s . It doesn't happen every run but i do Avg about 1.37 ... No weight added , No tricks other than just normal bolt ons ..Here is a video of a 1.37 5.65 @ 125 .. If i hit the low 1.30s a go a 5.60 flat .. That is on motor with pump 87 gas ...

The bike Dale rode had an M/T slick , lowered , strapped , big air kit ,Holeshot push button shifter , piped and tunned and MR9 .. His best that day was 9.51 .. One other rider ran a 9.49 ( lighter weight rider ) ...Having raced a few 09 Vmaxs myself , one with a slick and street tire they run...

I understand what you are saying RJ ... A lot of time went into that bike and using a drag slick, no air filter and race fuel takes it away from being streetable ..I would be saying slightly modded also if not for the drag slick and race fuel that costs 120 for 5 gallons ..

I saw that run first hand and it was leaving black marks but it wasn't spinning ...My bike did the same thing all the way down the track and i ran a 8.76 @ 155 with a 1.38 60 footer .. Soft compounds slicks leave marks in the VHT , that is what makes them work ..Turn up the sound on that video...

I think the UFO bike has a good chance of running high 8s , if not 8s it will be darn close .. If UFO doesn't get 8s someone else will ..

Mid 9s as in his best pass was 9.51, not low nines ... It had a M/T drag slick so no need for traction controll .. It took more than just exhaust mods to reach 190s ...No air box , fuel tunner , race ECU and a dose of U4.2 VP race fuel ..
