I was able to pull the hose off without removing the carbs. The good news; only the hose was/is clogged. I was able to test compressed air coming out the orifice by putting air through the water pump and blocking off the cylinder head hoses and cylinder drain plugs. Looks like the passages...

I believe so -it is right under the carbs and there is one coolant line running to it from the coolant distribution manifold. I am only concerned about the coolant line.

+1 on the Shark Evoline II. I have not found the weight to be any issue. The fit/finish compared to my older Shoei is outstanding. The flexibility of going open face or full face is tops.

My handgrips are stock. Everything on my bike is stock except for the seat, windshield and fork brace.

It doesn't move, the stalks are snug against the bracket, but the bracket is not flush against the head.

Based on the pictures, would you tighten it up more, or leave it as is?

No comments on the pics regarding what cracks when over-tightening? MEK says that the head will not crack if I try to tighten it.

Concerned with over tightening. What ends up cracking when you do this? The aluminum head where the turn signal stalks bolt into? I have included some pictures of my install. The bends are a little off, but I don't want to tighten this too much. This is a MEK wind screen, not the stock...

Thank you for your reply. Does anything go between the "hooks" and the metal of the fork/handle base? I would think that this would get scratched up for corroded otherwise.

Looking for a PDF or writeup on how to install the OEM instrument cowl. MINI windshield. I have been reading how some have cracked their turn signal stalks due to over tightening. Do the brackets need to be bent or adjusted. What are the adjustments needed for correct alignment.
