butterfly

Has anyone done it...is it possible ? I was thinking of getting all brackets in the carbies yellow zinc plated and dont want to not plate the pivot parts attached to them. Any thoughts ??

I was looking at the reason of my bad mileage and smell issue and i just found a small canal preventing the butterfly from closing fully. Any idea how I can fix that? Looks like this part of the assembly can not be bought separately... The copper part might be damaged as the alloy cylinder...

I checked fiche on ronayers to see if there were replacable bushings or something for the butterfly shafts but didn't see anything. I'm leaking at the ends of the shafts on a couple carbs. Are there bushings in there or do the shafts ride directly in the carb body? If bushings, where do you...
