Previous owner installed a 2” lowering kit on bike and it does look nice but I’ve heard the handling can be affected from it. Just wanted input on suspension settings to maximize handling. I’m 6’0 and 200 lbs if it makes a difference.

I was just looking at yamaha's 2014 line up , if not mistaken the MSRP is lower than the 2013 . I know most don't pay the MSRP , its showing 17,990 .00 . I know Yamaha had the MSRP for the 2013 was 19,990 . I also seen the MSRP was at 23,990 for the Vmax .... not sure whats going on .

I am wanting to see pics of your lowered Vmax. I have some 12" progressive rear shocks and a progressive front spring kit to lower 1 or 2 inches. I am thinking of 1" front and rear but want to see what it may look like. Thanks a bunch.

Quick question. When you lower your forks (1" or 2") with the progressive kit, you still measure the same distance from top of the fork tube (compressed) to the level of the oil right? I don't think the height of the bottom of the slider to the top of the fork tube when compressed changes...
