purpose

I've seen these many times, but never read much about their purpose. I *personally* think they are very ugly and detract from the appearance of the engine. The only thing I've read is it supports the frame head under hard braking. My bike still has the high-speed wobble, (read about it here)...

I discovered that the switch on my clutch master cylinder has a problem with it. What is the purpose of this switch? Brake switch operates lights on the brake m/c but what does this switch on the clutch m/c do?

Having problems with my throttle cables. If I just connect the pull cable and open the throttle, carb spring action will return carb to closed position when I release grip. When I attach return cable it does not want to return smmothly to closed position. What is the reason that the return...
