I have a 1991 VMax that I'm replacing the downpipes on (rusted original one) and I have run into some trouble. I'm running out of ideas so any thoughts would be appreciated. Out of 4 studs, the first one came out with the hex nut (probably the best possible outcome), the second sheared off...

Long story short, broke the stud off in the head. Drilled it out, heated it up. used an easy out, and broke the easy out. what are my alternatives. I was told you can't drill an easy out. I must say i'm not impressed with the easy outs. I didn't put that much force behind it, when it broke.

Does anyone know of another bike part number that will work? I know the OEM stud is attached and not a separate part but my OTec one is and I just sheared it off :bang head::bang head::bang head:.

I screwed up when trying to change rear diff oil on my truck and broke the head off of one of the bolts. I dont think anyones ever changed the diff oil in its 33 year life, it looks like diahreah. I sprayed it with pb blaster before i gave up on it tonight. Whats the best way to get it out...
