I recently bought a very lightly used Gen 1 Vmax (5,000 miles). I am parting out my old Gen 1.

I installed an additional 6 slot fuse block I bought on eBay for $20

See attached photos.

Right now, I am using 4 of the 6 slots, and I mounted it under the rear seat...plenty of room for a bulky fuse block.

1) 12 volt cigarette lighter socket near handlebars for GPS
2) Battery charger
3) Extra loud aftermarket horn
4) Fog lights

Using this fuse block greatly cleaned up the battery area. My previous Gen 1 had many wires on each of the positive and negative terminals, and made battery removal a severe PITA.

I liked that this fuse block had a positive and negative electrical bus. I only needed one wire connected to the positive side of the battery. I did not use the negative bus of the fuse block...I connected a ground wire from the device to the frame.
