Dust boots

Hey guys, I am going to be installing progressive springs and going to do the seals at the same time. Wondering if anyone has used (or thought of using) those neoprene dust boots that guys use on their dirt bikes? I know they work wonders for the life of fork seals on dirt bikes..might be worth a try.


Any thoughts?

I dont see why it would hurt.
Do you drive your VMAX off road or do you live in a city with dirt roads?
I will admit I hate them flying rocks out here in TN..

haha, no I am in the city, I just was thinking in terms of getting longer life out of the fork seals. Changing them is a pain, so if I can get an extra season or two out of them, the $20 is worth it. I just thought others might be using them, but I gues not. I would get black so they are not as noticeable...
