Having recently replaced the original gear selector segment with the updated one due to pins falling out i have now discovered that changing from 1st to 2nd it seems to go to neutral , what would be causing this ?:confused2:

You may just need to readjust your shifter lever. I've had mine off a few times and if I don't put it back in the same position I'm used to, it screws up how I shift.

I have also noticed that it does it only when it is cold .

You may have to apply more pressure when you shift from 1st to 2nd. I wonder if the original segment was so sloppy that you didn't have to make a firm shift to second?

Have no probs at all with it now , maybe it had to run itself in :ummm:unk::clapping:
