If it is in Universal City Los Angeles there is a Hilton on the lot that has almost 500 rooms averaging about $225 a night. Universal City is a small triangular city with a small population. I lived in Toluca Lake which is next door and there are some small hotels there like Howard Johnsons that are cheaper-Check the city of Burbank also.
