cops

Here's what I have, 1997 Max, stock cdi, I used early 2000's r6 coils (mitsubishi). I did the rear COPs first, started the bike to make sure it all worked, and it runs fine. But I have no tach reading. Then I did the front two COPs, and still no tach reading. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Well I got pulled over for failure to obey a traffic signal at least that's what he wrote me up for instead of illegal turn on red. So no points (thank god) but still sucks I got a ticket. At least he didn't see me a few minutes earlier, lets just leave it at that

I bought a set of short COPs off a 05 GSXR 1000. I am ready to wire it up but I am wondering if I need some inline resistors. My bike is an 86. The COPs are reading 10ohms across the primary connections and 13.5Kohms across the secondary connections. Thanks!

Hi guys, I am going to attempt to install the COPs mod but just read that I might need an inline resistor. I have a 1989 model Vmax and I purchased a set of coils from an 03 GSXR600 and harness from 05 GSXR750. Will I need an Inline resistor? (I read all the posts on this but it gets confusing...

I have the dyna 3000 with the cops,,but ive been trying to figure out where to run the tach line..I wont give me accurate readings on the coil leads so where else can I grab one from? Does the dyna have a tach line?

I have read through all I can find on the cop upgrade and printed out the list I found for what fits. I found a set of Denso from an 04 gsxr 600 but the list I have doesn't show these as ones that fit. Has the list been updated and will these work?? Thanks Duke

Every single set of cope I have from denso it reading 1.3 ohms...Ive read countless times of everyone getting 1.8 with there densos so why does everyone I test come up 1.3??????
