hi everybody just thought that now would be a good time to see if anybody had a good set of diaphrams or new of a place to get them cheaper than at the dealers. thanks for any help this is definatley one cool site for fellow maxers.

thought i might ask would you replace seals if they leave a slight mark on the forks after they have been depressed or only if they show or have evidence of actually leaking oil? thanks

is there such a thing as o-ring kit for the carbs? or how do you go about replacing them all since the carbs have set for 13 years they run good its just that when we teared into them this spring the o-rings were showing signs of dryness and need to be replaced or is there an overhaual kit for...

fuel tank does anybody know if there is a larger fuel tank than the measley 4 gallon stock tank? i get about 100 miles out of the stock and would like to ride for a longer stretch before refueling. thanks for any replies

fuel mileage i was just wondering what kind of fuel mileage per tank does everbody get? seems like my old motor got better fuel mileage than the present one and it had some mods done to it, this motor is a stock motor with stage7 and kerker pipe same as old motor except for head work and cams.

does anybody have any ideas on rev limiters? i own an 86 and it seems not to have one id sure hate to hurt parts by over reving which ive done several times any help would be appreciated.

thanks for your help, come to find out the fuel pump heated things up and caused the ignition switch to burn up.

does anybody have or know were a guy can get an ignition switch cheaper than what the dealer wants? thanks for any help:biglaugh:

hey out there thought id just ask if anyone is in the salt lake vacinity that like to go for rides sure would enjoy riding with some other v maxs.

thanks guys but all fuses are good any other suggestions? could the fuel pump possibly have burned out the ignition switch?:ummm:

i went for a ride came home found out that the fuel pump was no longer working would have to push start the bike to get it to run shut her down washed it and turned the key on and nothing no headlight,instrument lights or anything anybody have any suggestions? thanks
