does anybody have any ideas on rev limiters? i own an 86 and it seems not to have one id sure hate to hurt parts by over reving which ive done several times any help would be appreciated.

dynatech makes a dyna 3000 wich has a rev limiter and 8 advance curves.The older analog like your and mine also has a built in 2 stage limiter.
I just removed mine tonight to send it back for repair.Seems to run the same with the stock box back in.I am wondering if my advancer is working or not.

My 2 stage definately sucked and did not work. The top end limiter did work good though.
These seem to be the only option. The four coil set up and the goofy firing order do not leave many choices.
