Put 820 km on the max today with the air-hawk seat pad. It works amazing! No real Discomfort. It is a huge improvement for big days.

Well I decided to try a air hawk seat pad as I'm leaving Thursday am. I took it for a short 65 km ride today and it was actually really comfortable. Planing on 850 km Thursday so I guess I'll really know then.. Lol

Am heading out on a little 5000km joint on the max later this week which has me thinking about my seat.....does anybody have a Corbin or other brand seat on there gen 2 and was it much improved comfort?

Any updates on this? Easy install, gauge still accurate? What kind of range on a tank of fuel now?

Headed out on the bikes tomorrow, meeting a friend in regina sk then heading to the black hills.. We're riding a gen 2 and a 1 max.. Looking forward to being able to trade bikes back and forth and finally run them side by side! Any other vmaxxers in this area ?

Have you looked at the Oxford heated grips w/smart controller? All plug and play wires direct to batt so u don't have to tap into wiring at all.. If you forget to turn them off the controller sences the bike is not running and shuts them off.. I think they have 5 heat settings and a few...

I have the Schuberth c3pro modular. I believe it's the lightest quietest helmet on the market. They also have a Bluetooth system specifically for this helmet... By far the nicest most comfort lid I've ever had.... Very pricey though...

Last weekend I was riding.... This weekend there's half a foot of snow!!! I guess it's done for till spring..... The gen 2 saw the most attention in my garage this season. It saw 7200km (4500) mi the gen 1 saw 160km (100) mi and the goldwing went on 1 trip 4000km (2500) mi all in all a good year.

I think the gen 2 is a great bike to tour on. Ya, the fuel range is a downfall but I don't mind stopping every 1 1/2-2 hours to stretch my legs anyway. I carry 1 gallon of fuel with me also but have never had to use it yet. My touring set up is pretty simple I use a givi blade hard shell trunk...

First I ordered both the boulevard and touring shields, the touring was back ordered. Got the boulevard and it would not even come close to fitting. Turns out the brackets were put on backwards side to side... Aggravating considering the cost they charge but I wanted something that would fit...

I'd say judging by the way I pulled away from my buddies cbr 1000 the other day probably not.......:eusa_dance:

Does anyone have pics of there windshield and what kind they are.. Going to do some touring and need to get one but hard to decide without seeing one on the bike

What are the best options you guys have found for saddlebags or rear rack for tail bag? I want oem saddle bags but can't find any avail... I would like a hard shell bag that clips on and off the bike easily and does not interfere with flipping the seat up to refuel.. Thanks
