i have an 86 vmax, bike runs decent and idles but choppy. when i give it gas it stalls. i have a full tank of gas.any help be awesome thanks

Need more input.

Has the bike been sitting
Was it running fine then did this all of a sudden, is this an ongoing issue, is it something thats gotten progressively worse
When was the last time the carbs were cleaned
How old is the fuel filter
Did you drain carb bowls and check for rust/dirt/rubber chunks
Is the bike stock or, is it modded. What exhaust, filter, air box, jetting changes have been made

Typically, the carbs need cleaned well, the jet block gaskets and various o-rings replaced. Hopefully diaphragms and coasting enricheners are OK.
Often the tanks are rusted and need cleaned out and coated.
Sometimes the fuel lines break down and rubber dust pollutes the fuel system.

Drain float bowls into a glass jar and take a look at what comes out. Is it clean, clear gas?
Take the air box off and see if the slides move, or the slider cover off and see if they are in good shape or what's going on.

it has been sitting.
it has fresh gas
the carbs were cleaned rebuilt from the last owner. but he said the needed to be synced
