How do I remove the airbox from a 98 vmax?

Can somebody please help and explain how to remove the airbox. When I started it gas was shooting out of the tube under my airbox onto the motor I think it's a stuck float.

Unhook the two overflow lines (small phillips screws) and just yank on the box. Going back in will require loosening up the clamps that hold it to the carbs and also reaching in under the backside and putting on the crankcase vent hose. You'll need faux tank cover and scoops removed.
