I remember riding in snow flurries in 1981 with an open face helmet & no windshield.


My eyes still water just thinking about that...
 
I don't know what the wind chill factor was, but it was 36 and I was going 95 this morning.

Don't that cold air make her run good though???

if it wasn't for the lack of traction and frozen fingers, i'd like the cold riding!!
 
Yeah, my fingers were definitely the coldest, even thought I just had jeans and tennis shoes on. I need some better winter gloves I guess. I think the rest of me was staying warmish on adrenaline since it seemed I got colder after I stopped riding. The roads were pretty clear although I hit one little patch of ice in the shade and the rear end wiggled a bit...

I work in a club, on the way home at 3am there is always the dilemma
"Ride slow and be less cold for longer or ride fast and be colder for a shorter time".:bang head:
