I've read the Iridium IX Spark Plug is the best spark plug for a sport bike. I consider the VMax 1700 engine a sport bike engine. So I tried to research the original part (CR9EIA-9 #6289) compatibility with the IX plugs and found (3521) CR9EIX Iridium IX Spark Plug. The only difference is the gap size. .036 for the 6289s vs .032 for the 3521s. If I were to open the gap to .036 everything else is matching. Any incite here guys?
