New Old-Guy Intro

Hi All. Sorry if I overlooked the introduction category.
Wanted a V-Max since hanging the sales/spec card on my bedroom wall in '85. Since then my evolution of bikes was: CB650, CBR1000, VFR800, Softail Custom, Deluxe, and Road King.
When I read that Yammy decided to discontinue the V-Max I figured it's now or never. Found a nice 2009 dressed out in carbon fiber and sporting Voodoo slip-ons and pulled the trigger. Put 100 miles on it on the way home and about went deaf LOL.
First chance I get I intend to peek under the armor and see if there's a Gurued label on the ecu.
Looking forward to learning more about this amazing machine.
