radiator cover inserts......can u remove them

So i bought a used set of used radiator side side covers. Can U remover the inserts below the reflector? My original ones were silver and my replacements are black. I would like to change them back to silver. The parts diagram shows it as a separate part. Is it glued in? Can I remove them without destroying them? Thanks

Double sided taped in. You may be able to carefully pry them loose and glue them back in. A little heat from a hair dryer or heat gun should help loosen things up for you. You should be able to order some new ones if you damage them. I got a few a couple years.

They are hard to remove without damage as they are so thin. I have custom made stainless ones that you can put on in their place as well as filled in and painted versions too.
