ok, i got my system on and have tried it w/8 discs and w/no baffling at all. the latter bangs a bit at 8 grand, but pulls good up to that, so before i mess w/the carb, what is the best number of discs for power on a dead stock setup, that you guys have found?

6 Discs with Closed Caps is the Best Running Setup for me with Stock Carbs/Airbox.
I have run 8 Discs w/ Closed Cpas and that sounded and ran well too.
I also Ran Open Caps w/2 Discs and it sounded and ran great (a bit rich though) but was too loud over long distances for me.
Open Caps sounded GREAT up to about 55 MPH but above that over any distance it was extremely irritating.
After Thunder I will probably put the Open Caps back on without any Discs and see how I like that.
Ultimately I think it will end up being a matter of preference as to how loud you want it.

sounds good in the garage, will try it out when we get a clear forecast in a couple of days.
