Throttle cable questions

I just replaced my push and pull upper cables cause I couldn't get them lined up. So I put the new ones in and when I put the thread at 15mm by the carb it won't return quick. So I just set it to where throttle feels good but neither mark is in the lines. Any help. Thanks

You need to adjust the length of the cable up by the handlebar. You want to get too much slack in the throttle then start lengthing the cable taking up the slack while testing for the throttle to snap closed.

Thanks Sean. I didnt have one of the cables tightened up
