The Raider hands down! I've ridden 109's and it's the best bike Mattel ever made, best plastic bike you can own. The new Plastic Honda Fury model comes in first? Anyway back to my statement, the Raider is one very powerful cruiser. I like it very much.

Just because there are some bikes sitting at dealers doesn't mean they will not sell. It only means those who put down their deposit were not able to complete the deal. There are lots of bikes(all brands) sitting at the dealers today, and most of them are the big ticket ones which not everyone...

I bought the VMax coffee table book for $18000, they threw in the bike extra. WHAT A DEAL!

I have the 09 and think it's ugly, over the top, and a bike totally opposite of what I like in a bike. I love chrome big V-Twin power and lot's of color. I only bought the new VMax cause it's the 2nd coming of a "Jesus" bike! All the hype and press on it was enough for me to put down my deposit...

I'm not having any luck getting past the next gas station. I fill up, give it the throttle and watch the gas gauge laugh at me! Seriously.....80 miles to a tank then the gas warning light comes on and starts snickering....LOL. With a little gas tank, and big engine comes the need to NOT pass...

That's another benefit of having a hot girl friend on the back, she can carry what little stuff you may need. :punk: The VMax sucks at "touring" unless you pull a gas trailer behind it. But I guess you can stop every 50-80 miles to fill up. I tour at 90mph so it's not easy to see...

I actually like the tach and speedo to be in line of sight while blasting down the road. I agree that the new VMax is incredible in person and draws a crowd when I park it. I have ordered the small black windscreen with silver trim from Star. That should clean up the front a little.

Thanks for the reply! I'm going to give these pipes a little longer to run in. I think they are sounding better as the bike gets through the breakin period. They draw some attention when you run the bike in the upper rpm range.

I have a hard time seperating the reasons to ride. If riding a bike cause it looks cool to you, and draws some attention which you like because of it, and it's got things on it that looks good, i.e. chrome do-dads, then I'm guilty as sin. Of course HD makes some great looking bikes, who can...
