I know it's March now but is it still possible to obtain a new 2009 Vmax
anywhere in North Carolina ?

I'm sure you can find one at a dealership that hasn't sold yet. Some people order them then back out.
Call around and ask, or check ebay you might find one close to you there.

lol... they can't give them away here in san diego. Funbike Center tried to sell me one for 15 grand.

I was sure I put a reply in here giving at least 5 different eBay item numbers for new Vmax's for sale, but it seems to have disappeared!? Anyway, there are plenty on eBay, sure you can find one not too far from you. They all go around $15-16k

There ya go!! I did the work well most of it for you. You owe me a ride when ya buy one!

Pick up a telephone, start dialing. and say the following.

Hi. my name is _________ and I was wanting to know if you have any new 2009 VMAX's............... Can you keep my contact information if someone trades one in?

Lankee's probably bought a crankshaft from each of these shops this year. :rofl_200:

There was 2 identical threads started by the OP, so I axed one of them. You may have responded in that one.

The stealership where I bought mine just got one delivered in the crate yesterday.....

Yes I was there .......Yes they let go into the shop to see it in the crate:biglaugh:

Apparently they are still shipping them....so ask:confused2:

Mountain Adventures , Conyers , GA. 770-761-4800 . Saw it yesterday on the showroom floor , next to the front door for max. exposure. Someone ordered it and backed out. $ 18,900 I think was the asking price. I asked the sales weasel what the bottom line was & he said that was the bottom line.

weasel is right ...that bike will be sold in high 1500 soon there everywhere around here sitting on the floor

Well funny you mentioned. FunBike are a bunch of crooks. They almost hoodwinked me into 19, yes 19 PERCENT. I was planning on the bike for 4 months and had given the 1 grand plus another 9 grand down. I had signed the papers when I threatened them with a lawsuit. The contract, which had a clerical error which assisted me in an out, got me my whole 10 grand back. According to cali law, they CANNOT keep the 'non-refundable" $1000 bux.

So I am very dissappointed, but I see the prices comin way down, and will wait another year. I did ride it though. A thrill a minute. But sometimes you have to take a stand.

FBC has a terrible reputation I found out

It that $15k at Fun Bike OTD or simply the starting price?

Now that I see the other post about bad experience... not so interested. Still curious though.

I bought the VMax coffee table book for $18000, they threw in the bike extra. WHAT A DEAL!

There is 2 new 09s in greenville, south carolina.Seems they can not sell the freakin bikes here. One is at power sports in greenville south carolina other in anderson south carolina. JOHN

Just because there are some bikes sitting at dealers doesn't mean they will not sell. It only means those who put down their deposit were not able to complete the deal. There are lots of bikes(all brands) sitting at the dealers today, and most of them are the big ticket ones which not everyone can afford in todays workplace enviroment.

I've seen lots of bikes sit for a long time until someone with the cash walks in. I paid cash for mine, no financing involved cause I don't have a job(retired).

Seriously guys, the bikes aren't selling, there are still several available here in the Dallas, TX area, I could have had one for 16K about 6 weeks ago, but that's still not enough of a discount for me. Used ones will be selling for 10K by early next year.........
