i think i have to do the individual carb tuning with a flow meter. i was wanting to find if someone had done this. when i bought this 1988 vmax i got a good deal. i know know with all the mods to this bike and the condition that i got a really good deal. it has 2005 body work, 2005 frt. end...

does anyone have a vmax or have synced the carbs on a vmax with the vboost completely removed? previous owner took it off and i don't have it. it is a stock engine with full kerker and stage 7 with seperate k&n filters. thanks, mark:bang head:

this road work was torwards the northern end. there was a lot of overlooks closed. the only ones that were open were the side road pulloffs. all the ones that you would turn into and park are closed.

almost lost my ass, i mean my rear. i did 400 miles this weekend and then noticed i had some oil on rear wheel. found out the drain plug was seeping when it got warmed up. i drained it and had about just enough to not smoke the rear. i feel lucky. love my max mark:punk:

i went to skyline drive this weekend, i just want to give you a heads up. i entered at sperryville and headed north towards front royal. DANGEROUS. they have tared and stoned the road and it is terrible. i can't believe i payed 10 dollars to get killed. if any cars are in front of you you better...

can you install the shift lamp with the dyna 3000 ign. if so does it get adjusted by your module or does it has its own settings. thanks, mark

not much i can complain about with my max. but i am really getting to the point where i need to see my tach. i hit the rev limiter to much. i want to mount a mini tach to my bike. of course jc whitney sells one guaranteed to work or money back. well they are just out to get there highway robbery...

thanks, did you notice that it runs better. the more battery voltage the hotter spark. i never had a hot start problem just couldn't see at night.

all i know is i love my bike. what i don't understand is at the vmax outlaw site the spec for hp on early vmax 145 @ 9000 rpm. so most people are spending hundred to thousands in hop up parts then have them dyno'd at 110, 115, 120. what happened to 145? mark

the real problem i have is when i get on my max i seem to play with it a bit more than if i am on my roadstar. the same thing happens to my rear tire. you don't have to smoke tires to wear them out. a lot of hard shifting and getting on it wears it out too. oh well you must pay to play. mark
