1993 V MAX 1200 pickup coil reads 0 ohms

Lost the spark on my 1993 V MAX & I hope I'm posting this in the correct place on the forum because I'm very new in the cyber world & I've made some mistakes . As you might already guessed I'm in need of a replacement pickup coil . Can someone out there please direct me or PM me with the next best move I should take to purchase one that's within spec for my MAX ? I'm also going to have to repair the leaking locked up front brake calipers in the near future and welcome any advise as to the best solution to that issue as well . New ? used ? rebuild kitS ? etc , etc . Thank you so much fellow Maxer's Or should I be posting my break issues in a different section on this awesome forum ? Appology in advance

I will check and see if I have a pick-up coil. As far as the brakes I do have some good working calipers I would sell or you can buy rebuild kits for them.
