Decided to part out the engine I have that busted a con rod, mostly because I've run out of time. I believe the crankshaft is bad, and the balancer shaft is pretty beat up, but I think most of the rest of the engine is salvageable.

It's a '96 with 10k miles on the odometer, but for some reason I keep thinking I was told there were 32k on the engine when I bought the bike (bought it intending to repair it, got bogged down with other problems and the damage was worse than I thought), not sure why but that might be the better number to stick with for argument's sake.

Some of the parts are listed on ebay, auctions are ending on Sat., and if they don't sell there they will be available as well. The heads, camshafts, valve covers, chains and gears, transmission, and clutch are not listed on ebay right now though and are totally up for grabs. I also have a crankcase available that I bought, but am no longer going to use. Additionally, I have a sealed set of gaskets for the engine, I believe I paid $180 for, willing to let go of for $150.

As far as the rest of the parts go, I want to move them quickly so I'm not going to post prices, all reasonable offers will be considered. Feel free to ask questions.

Thanks! The auction link is perfect, but the Facebook page is not working...
here is the message:

Crank, Case, and Countershaft are all junk pile stuff. Looks like spun a bearing and then was continued to be ridden until the rod galled in place and the momentum of the crank simply broke it off.

So the bearing on the crank started a cascade of damage once it seized? That makes sense.

A few usable parts in there. Where is the exhaust studs for the front head? They usually stay with the head. The trans has some wear on some of the gear dogs I could see. Either need to be undercut or gear(s) replaced.

Here's a few pictures.
