Put on hole shots 4 into 1 running dj 170 main jet 2nd clip from the top a/f 2 1/2 turns out floats set 1.125" 1000' above sea level stock air box but took off the scoops on the box. Seemed to pull a lot harder with scoops off when do you need the air actuator what does it do where does it go? Any one have any pics? My budy has a 1993 max new motor before I did all this he was alittle faster not now he can't touch me his feelings was hurt cause I have a 1990 with 32000 miles .

I've never heard of an air actuator for the vmax :ummm:

My bad air correctors, 70 hours in 115 heat index will do that to you.

You don't need to install air resrictors with a stock airbox. If you install a muscle jet kit or stage 7, or individual pod filters then you need them.
