Autometer tax ?

Hey guys I put a Sunpro tach on last year and it worked great but after sitting a year now the needle acts all goofy. It doesn't seem to snap and stay steady like it used to. I was wondering if you had any ideas why and also what it would take to get a autometer setup. I know you need a 2 cylinder tach for our bikes because of the wasted spark ignition. Is there any adapters that areAden to drop half the spark or anything I can do ??

Hey guys,
I am a bit confused on how to get this setup? I need to find a way to cut 2 signals into 1 signal to make the tach work on 4 cylinder?
