Can the ballencer on my 86 max give a two tone knock like a rod from the berings on either end of it got great oil pressure dosen't sound bad cold after warms up just sounds like a rod bering

I've heard a balance shaft walk forward and tap the front of the timing cover under acceleration, on a Buick V6 motor. The nose of the balance shaft had some runout which allowed the helical gear to walk forwards.
On a Vmax, I don't know. I'm guessing the bearings would growl, and sound different. The person I would be asking is Sean Morley.

Wrist pins loose can cause it. make sure it's not play in the fan motor since that is actually common.
