Does anybody have experience with chain conversion :ummm:

What's involved and where do the bits come from :ummm:

www.pcwracing.net does them. if you have someone do it you might as well bore the motor. that s how far they are into the motor.

I think morley does to.

There was a european company JMC use to sell the kit and I think Otec does also.

to use the stock Vmax frame you have to cut the rear case section (take apart the engine) as well as make an adapter to bolt your sprocket on to. Of course you need a swingarm, custom wheel, and some frame and gas tank modifications. I have a different style of conversion as well that doesn't involve maching the cases but it won't fit in the stock frame without a lot of frame modifications. I do have 2 chain drive engines and one chain drive swingarm laying around if you're interested. One of the engines is a 1570 block and trans only. The other is complete and a 1500 longrod engine.
